May 2009 Meetup – Video!

May 13th, 2009 · Comments

On May 5th, we had a great Meetup — our 59th ever — at New World Stages on W 50th Street. Presenting companies included, ActionMethod, Zemanta, exZact Data Collection, RmbrMe, SesameVault, and Apture, followed up by an amazing presentation by NYTM and Meetup.com Founder Scott Heiferman on his recent trip to Iraq (as per a suggestion by long-time NYTM member Frederic Guarino).

Lucky for us, NYTM member Alper Dilmen was on the scene video taping the evening. He edited the presentations into three segments, and cut out my rambling, for your viewing pleasure.

Thanks Alper! If folks want to contact him, they can email: ald183s (AT) gmail

Founded in 2004 by Scott Heiferman, the NY Tech Meetup has over 8,000 members, representing people from all parts of the New York technology community. Each month, six companies and developers demo technology they've been working on in front of a 400+ sold out crowd.
The NY Tech Meetup is a community-led organization, and is not for profit. It is currently organized by Nate Westheimer.
