June 2009 Meetup – Video!

June 8th, 2009 · View Comments

On June 2nd, we had our largest Meetup ever with an astonishing 775 people at the FIT – Haft Auditorium. The very first time we presented our NY Tech Meetup Showcase, where the coolest NYC’s tech startups showed off their products. It was a great success.

Our presenters during our regular event were: Upnext, Centrl, NYsenate, Livestream / Procaster, Aviary, Makerbot and NY’s own Jason Calacanis unveiling — for the very first time — Mahalo 2.0!. Near to the end of our meetup, Scott Heiferman (founder of Meetup.com) and Jason Calacanis had a one-on-one discussion about tech Startups and the Web back in the days and how they function and run today !

Thank you guys for making this event a success and we are looking forward to see you again on July !
